Re: ***Healthy Living Check-in***
my goals this week were to:
1. measure out my water and drink it
I only actually measured out my water one day this week. It made me see how little water I actually drink. This is something I need to make a habit of doing especially while exercising in the summer heat and BFing.
2. Do my tupler method exercises.
Did them everyday except Wednesday.
3. use my stretch mark treatment.
Every day except Wednesday
4. drink my womb strengthening herbal tea
did everyday except today
GTKY:
I enjoy hiking although I haven't done it in a long time. I also enjoy walking if I have someone to walk and talk with or if the scenery is pretty.

Happy Friday Ladies! Hope you are all doing well.

Well I fell off the bandwagon with my fitness pal already lol. Its kind of challenging to record all the foods but I think it just needs some time to become second nature. When I do log in my foods I'm making better choices and avoiding junk plus I also get my water in that way. Food is definitely my weakness. If I don't plan ahead I end up ending awful. I'll keep trying.
As far as exercise goes, I did pretty well. We went for our walks because the weather was great and I went to my baby bootcamp class. I'm finding that really motivating because it gets me out of the house MWF and Leo loves it! We have a blast together and I get a great workout. I'll be bummed when I go back to work in September because I know it won't be easy to get my workouts in. I did not do my strength training videos. I have a couple Jillian Michaels ones that I wanted to dust off and try again but eh...
ETA forgot the GTKY. I love playing backyard volleyball. I used to play in school and with the right people playing it can be a great workout!

NBBride05- were you able to go on your walks?
Yes, I got in 4 walks. It was rainy and cold for a couple of days, but will be back in the 90s this weekend. We have such crazy weather. I think I need to actually log how much water I am drinking to make it a worthwhile goal. I think I drink a lot, but probably not as much as I should. I did have a salad one day for lunch and have been eating more fruit. Now that summer is almost here, it should be easier to eat more fruits and veggies.
GTKY: Right now I don't really have one other than playing Wii. Some of the games can definitely make you sweat if you play long enough (like Tennis, dancing, etc.). In the past I have enjoyed beach volleyball, but now I don't live close enough. I would not mind doing more hiking.
BFP #2 - 7/1/12 - Met my lucky charm Alexandra on 3-16-13!!!
Generally, I was able to meet my water goals. Here is a tip: I bought a big 32 oz jug from Eastern Mountain Sports and use that to monitor how much water I'm taking in. I take it to work and if I barely touch it by noon, it reminds me to keep drinking more.
Walking - did a big shopping day Monday (hope that counts!). I think we walked on Tuesday - I can't remember anything beyond yesterday. Did walk yesterday too.
Boot camp on Wednesday was great - we did a lot of lunges and it took more than a day for the soreness to seep in. OMG. This morning I am having a hard time when I sit down or go down the stairs.
I need to work on better eating but this weekend DS is going to pick up cupcakes from a local cupcakery for Mother's Day (it was what I wanted, of course).
ETA: missed the GTKY! Umm, I really love to swim so any chance I can get to a pool with my family, I ask DH to watch the kids in the kiddie pool when I head over to the main pool for a few laps. I used to be able to swim at least a mile during a workout but it has been years. One day when I'm done with the BFing demands, I might join the new YMCA that was just built, it comes with a huge pool!
