DH and I had an event last night that had an open bar. I had like three drinks, and now today I feel almost hung over. WTF? When did I get to be so old?
How is everyone else feeling on this lovely Thursday morning?
Ugh. Any time I drink I have to remind myself that DD gets up at 6:30 whether I'm tired or not. These days, a drink or two does me in. Lame.
As far as my Thursday, my office is quiet, so I'm enjoying a little slacking. Tonight I'm cleaning the whole apartment for a weekend with the ILs. Lame to cleaning, hooray to the visit.
Unfortunately, I've always been like that. I can never tolerate much alcohol (maybe it's not such a bad thing). I honestly get giggly, warm and a little off balance after just one can of beer.
I really can't drink anything but wine anymore, which I guess isn't a bad thing?? But even that, I feel limited to 1-2 glasses or I will be too tired to function the next day!
Today is Thursday, which is the busiest day of the week in my office. I stayed up too late last night and I'm exhausted!

I always get sick when I drink! It never fails so I don't bother.
Had the baby's 4 month shots today. So far, so good. I've heard that sometimes babies have a bad reaction with either a fever or fussiness, but nothing so far!
I went out with my sister a few months ago and I had like 5 beers. I seriously felt like I was going to die the next day. I stopped drinking at 1am and at 5 I started to get sick. I was sick for about 5 hours and finally passed out around 10am. Clearly it is time for me to stop drinking.

Well "cheers" (with a nonalcoholic drink) to all us lame old ladies.
Hope we all make it through to Friday soon!

Yep! Dh and I love to share a bottle of wine on the weekends and "stay up" until 10 or 10:30l, and then I regret it when ds wakes up at 6!
DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d
I just wish I had time to recover from a fun night. Why can't DD sense I got my drink on and sleep in until noon lol? Wishful thinking!
