My Father's World K Moms, come in!

We started using the MFW curriculum two weeks ago with my older boys.  DS1 is doing the MFW 1st grade phonics and Saxon Math 1.  DS2 is doing MFW K phonics and math.  Both are doing the K unit studies together and then the plan is to have both of them do the 1st grade unit studies together next year.

We just finished the creation unit last week and it was fun.  We started the sun unit yesterday.  I've been obsessively pinning ideas on Pinterest and just wanted to see if anyone here would mind sharing what has worked well for them or what their children have enjoyed. 

I'm really enjoying the curriculum.  It's for six days, which we spread over two weeks because I work part-time two days a week. It fits into our schedule perfectly!

    We did the K two years ago and will be doing it again in the fall for DD. I pretty much used nearly EVERYTHING suggested in the teachers manual and checked out lots of library books each week on the subject.

    I tend to stay away from pinterest because it eats up too much of my time.... Stick out tongue

    Hey, ladies.  Just wanted to let you know that I started a blog to document our MFW K journey.  I wanted to keep a portfolio for the end of the year and also to remember what worked and didn't for when we go through this process again with our little girls in 3-4 years.  Link's in my signature.
