Ok, so my husband and I decided on a name for our baby Boy! His name will be Collin. We are still deciding on a middle name for him. Our first DS has my husbands first name for his middle name and so we thought about giving Collin my husbands middle name for his middle name too. Collin Stephen U.?? Any thoughts?! That's also my FILs first name, but we wouldn't be doing it for him at all. We aren't set on the middle name yet, just a thought!

What do you guys think??

Other middle name suggestions are welcome we are stuck!!!

    Cute name! I like single syllable middle names for some reason to break up the 2 syllable first name, just an idea- i.e. Collin James.

    I wouldn't give Collin the same middle name as dad and your first.  What about your dad or grandfathers first name or middle name?

    We are also using dhs name as lo middle name. It is a tradition in his family. I love that idea. Ex our boy will be Wesley James Z.

    OP, we will probably be doing the same thing, FIL's FN is DH's MN, so DH's FN will be DS's MN.  Good question on what to do for the second boy.  Would your dad's FN or MN be an option?  Is your maiden name able to serve as a middle name without sounding too much like a surname?

    It sucks, because we don't even have the option to use my dad's first name since we both hate it and he doesn't have a middle name. Also, my maiden name is ugly ugly ugly so that's not an option either! Lol I didn't grow up knowing either of my grandpas and even I had, as terrible as it sounds...they both had long ugly names! This is what I get for being so damn beyond picky!!!!!
