We were given a 60 to 65 % chance at pregnancy with the one we want to transfer. Our odds are higher if we transfer two, but not by much. Maybe 70 to 75 but with a 50% chance of twins, which is too high for us, personally.
Our doc initially suggested we transfer two but was very ok with us transferring one.
We wrestled with it back and forth daily but we both feel good about our decision.
We feel good with our chances with 1. Our most successful PG to date was an IVF and those are the same % chances we were given when we did the transfer, granted that PG ended up with a trisomy loss, but now we've eliminated that possibility in this one.
What are your twin chances if you put back two?
It's interesting. I think both (yours and mine) of our personal and unique histories are coming into play in our projected chances.

Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal
Moving on to IVF.
IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy
Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14
After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14

Thanks for sharing B. I completely agree. Our unique histories are definitely coming into play. I actually thought he would give us at least a 60% chance of success given we finally have a diagnosis! I have had surgery to correct the hydro and the hormone treatment for the endo is a current work in progress. Hmm.
I did not ask about the twin stat, if we decided to transfer two. I guess I was mind boggled on that lower percentile number of 50. We have gone through the wringer and we are still being told 50-60%. I am still hopeful and self assured that CCRM is our best shot at this, but I am def in limbo on how many to transfer.
I thought for sure he would say to transfer one given we corrected the hydro and I am doing endo hormone treatment, but he said two and I have no reason not to trust his advice since he has been right on with our situation from day one, but the risks associated with carrying twins is very serious.
The idea of twins sounded pretty "cute" when we started the IVF process and we had no doubt on a transfer each time of two, but my heart is so much more guarded now and I am so accutely aware of the risks to the mother and babies.
