Help me generate some ideas

We haven't talked a lot about names yet for this LO, but I need some help generating ideas. I've got one of those DHs who likes to discard my suggestions, but not make any himself. When he does make suggestions they are very 80s.

I would define our style as classic and familiar. We like names our most people have heard of or seen before, but are not uber popular (I prefer to be in the 150 range on the SSA list at least). Needs to be easily recognized in print, easy to pronounce, and spell. The biggest thing though is we (okay this may be more me than DH) are not fans of nicknames. Big brothers are Grant Aaron and Garrett Ryan; our last name is a very popular name that rhymes with Jelly. I prefer to avoid names that start with C/K as I don't think they sound good with our last name.

Right now we are leaning towards Meredith for a girl, but I am not 100% sold. For a boy we are leaning towards Preston, but again I am not 100% sold. I feel like it might be a little to popular for my taste, and maybe trendy (not sure on that one though).
