Nursing Bras??

If you are BF, what kind of nursing bras are you using??  How many do you have?

Pre delivery, I bought 2 Gilligan & O'Malley bras from Target, but they didn't fit after my boobs got so huge post delivery...I had no idea my boobs would get that big.  I tried them anyway and they gave me plugged ducts, ugh!

Then, I bought the same brand with right size recently, but the bra isn't comfortable at all :(

There aren't too many cute nursing bras, so I ended up buying a grandma bra looking from Target and it's awesome and comfy.  I also invested a little bit of money to buy Bravado bra.  It's pink and pretty comfy.

I have one nursing tank and it's good, but I don't know how long I will be able to continue BF (technically pumping for me), so I am not sure if I should get more bras or not....

P.s.  I wish Victoria's Secrets had nursing bra line!!!!

  • I have been using Motherhood Mat tanks and their sports bra line. I never wanted to risk underwire issues, so I've liked the bras that use S/M/L instead of number sizes. They've also been great for weaning as they don't look ridiculous on my rapidly shrinking boobs since I can adjust the straps. I do have a wireless Bravado bra that is very nice as well. They aren't pretty, but my boobs aren't either, so I'm just going with it!

I have the target nursing bras too and they suck. But I don't want to spend more money on them bc I'm a total cheapskate. I have 2 and just rotate and wash frequently. I am really small though so I can easily get away with nursing tanks when I'm not at work.

This is me too. I have 3 from Target and two Bravado (I think that's the brand). I find them to be a lot more comfortable than bra's and I like that my stomach isnt exposed if I lift my shirt to NIP.

I just realized how much I must like these because I am wearing one now and I only nurse DS in the morning and before bed now, so there is no reason I need to be wearing a nursing tank. Embarrassed

  • Right now I only have Bravado nursing tanks, but I'm looking into buying a couple of Bravado bras now that the weather is getting warmer.  I really like the Bravado nursing tanks so I'm hoping I'll like their bras as well.  They are not cheap, but I figure I'll be (fx) using them for another 6 months, so I might as well get something comfortable!

[I had some hand-me-down no name nursing tanks from a good friend, but they were so uncomfortable that I decided to splurge the $ for the Bravado tanks.  Just think of the $ we've saved by BFing, it's worth paying for something that makes us feel good & comfortable!]

I totally agree!  Formula isn't cheap and plus we cannot forget about all the great benefts from our breast milk.
