With DD1 I co-slept without a co-sleeper and it worked well for me, however, DH never got to sleep in bed with us for his fear of rolling over her :-) This time around I would still like to co-sleep but hoping to make a comprimise with DH and get a co-sleeper. Any recommendations on a co-sleeper you love?
TIA!
Re: Co-sleeping suggestions needed
I just got a bed rail with DS, but ended up buying a full sized Arm's Reach later on. It works as a pack n play once they outgrow the cosleeper.
You could also side car a crib (take one side off and attach it to your side of the bed).

I'm in the process of researching this myself, but I think I'll sidecar a crib like Booger suggested. Apparently babies outgrow the arms reach co-sleeper around 5 months and I'd like to co-sleep up to at least 1 year.
I found some good info on sidecaring cribs here:

We started with the Arm's Reach and then moved to a mattress on the floor. Eventually we were comfortable having Baby in the middle sometimes.
Yes, the Arm's Reach can only be used a short time, but I found it worth it for those first few months, especially if you can reuse it or pass down to other kids. It also converts to a play yard, which we VERY rarely used at home, but we did take it with us camping (when my son was 10 months) and it was awesome to have as a play yard there! (You can also resell it when you're done with it.)
