E is long and lean [not sure on new stats, but I'm guessing almost 30 inches and almost 17 lbs].
I'm having trouble finding onesies and shirts that aren't too baggy. Gymboree and Crazy8 stores have the 6 to 12 month size which fits lengthwise but is super baggy.
Carter's fits pretty well but I'm looking for other options. :]
Re: Shopping for beanpole baby
We have to alternate sizes for Kate (about 17 lbs, pushing towards 30 inches too)
She can still wear 3-6 in Old Navy/Gap onuses, but I have to get an extender because it's hard to snap at the crotch and the sleeves are a little above her wrist (if it's long sleeved, but we're moving out of those for spring).
Pants - she's in 12-18 from Old Navy/Gap or 12 month at Carters (they fit more like capris, but its warm so I don't care).

OshKosh should fit the same as Carters.
Do you have an H&M? I have some hand-me-downs. Leo wears 6-12mo in Gap and they are starting to get too short. His 9-12mo H&M pants are still really really long. I bet Eric could wear 6-9 or maybe even 4-6 H&M clothes.
2nd the onesie extenders.
And doodle pants. Leo has been wearing size 80 (3-12mo) since he was 2mo old and they still fit great.
