I need to buy underwear now

Since the damn washer can't be fixed for at least a week! WTH?!? We have a perfectly functional one in our garage but no way to get it downstairs. My husband is pissed and calling again for me but I need underwear! I need clothes! I need a functional house before I have a baby!

Re: I need to buy underwear now

  • Wait.  Why?  You've lived long enough without a washer, young lady.  Why can't they fix it?

  • If it weren't for the lovely ooze of pregnancy, I'd tell you to roll commando.
  • It'll take over a week to get part. I would rather just get a brand damned new one delivered. The service tech is kind of a ***. I was asking about the warranty and he got all pissed at me - eff you dude, this is YOUR job! I'm just trying not to stink like a mother effer and get some shit taken care of. I'm so irritated. I wonder if I can run my hose through the garage and make it work from there....
  • For a week? That is unacceptable. How the hell are you suppose to function for that long?

  • Yuck.  Go steal your DHs boxers. :) Maybe he'll go get you some underwear himself then.
  • LOL wellllll hubs is pissed. We're been 2 weeks+ now without a washer and dryer.

The frickin guy ordered the parts - I talked to hubs. I told him go ahead and cancel the order we don't need them. We're going to return the washer and use our old one until it dies. We know it works! He wont cancel the order. I'm like dude, I'm having a baby on Tuesday! (maybe) I can't be runing around cancelling parts orders. He doesn't give a shit.

So now hubs is coming from work with a bunch of dudes to come move the old washer in and the new one out because I can't function any more.

I'm gald to have it resolved but I'm so flippin mad. Not good for the BP.

  • Can you ask what part it is that needs to be ordered.  Sometimes they will order a part when you can get it at an appliance store, since it is no skin off their back if you can wash clothes, and then they don't have to drive to pick up the part.....  Worth a try right?  I know we have a Whirlpool and as old as it is we were able to find a whole new transmission for it at an appliance parts store...
