Hair Bow left huge bump on my DD's head!

After taking my DD's headband off today after daycare (she had picture day ) so the headband was on all day, I noticed that there was an indent on her head from where the bow sits. This usually happens,but it goes away within a couple of minutes. This time the indent  turned into a huge bump, so I am currently sitting up with her while she's sleeping because I just feel horrible. I don't understand why it made a big bump this time? Has this ever happend to anyone else??

    Dd used to have a couple that did that. I'd only have them on a short time after that. Might be getting too tight? The bump was gone within a day.
