How long did your period last after birth of baby? I feel like mine should have lasted longer from what everyone said... I had a c section last Thursday, may 2 and I never had a heavy flow. Today, not a single drop...thoughts?

    It might not have been your period if you just had your c section last week. My thinking is that it was postpartum bleeding which can come and go for a few weeks.

    I think you're meaning to say post partum bleeding, which is not a period.  Post partum bleeding varies from person to person but I'll caution you that a day without blood doesn't always mean you're done.  It could definitely come back, especially if you over do it physically in the next few days so continue to take it easy.

    Mine lasted a couple of weeks. Don't go without a liner at least for a few days mine came back at very inconvenient times!

    Naturally you will bleed for a couple of weeks PP. Length and flow will vary. You might go a couple of weeks without anything else and then it will start again. Mine only lasted just under 2 weeks and then it's been on again off again. Very heavy and lasted 11 days for the first re occurrence. I am EBF and have had a stupid cycle every 2 weeks, but the length of it keeps getting shorter and shorter and the flow lighter and lighter. Everyone will be different.

    I am at 3 weeks post partum and still bleeding. It's starting to become less heavy, but still very much there. Not sure how long its supposed to last.

    This. During the few weeks after delivery, my bleeding was on and off.
