Suggestions please

We are 36 weeks along with baby 1 who we know will be a boy. The name we decided early on is Eli, but now at the end I'm starting to have second thoughts based on possible future girl names. Our favorite girl names are Mae, Louisa, and Vivian. I realize we may never have a girl, but if we do I'd like the names to go well together. What's your opinion of Eli? Thanks!

    I don't care for Eli as a given name. I much prefer Elijah with the nn Eli. With that said, I think Eli and your girl names go together just fine.

    Those girl names sound just fine with Eli.  The only concern you should have for future kids is if you love a name that rhymes with/sounds too similar to what you might name your first child.  IE:  H and I love the name Isla for a girl.  Our son is named Kyler.  We will not be using Isla if this baby is a girl because, Kyler and Isla practically rhyme.

    I think you should go with the boy name you love now.  You never know what the future will bring.

    I like Eli and it goes well with the other names.

     

    Like PPs said, you're putting too much thought into it. Most of my girl list from before we knew that DS was a boy I wouldn't use now anyway. Don't plan this kid's name around phantom babies in your future.
