I don't know if this would make most people mad or if I'm just over sensitive because I'm so stressed. DH finally went back to work today, then when he came home one of the first things he decides to talk about is that he thinks I make the noise machine too loud when DS naps. Now granted he didn't bring it up in an angry way, but he said he was concerned and wants me to make it quieter.
a. I do it so I can effing pack because basically the whole of packing the house is up to me since he gets home so late.
b. I think it's ridiculous honestly, babies sleep to white noise, it's totally normal. It's not right next to him, it's in front of the door to block out the noises outside his room.
I just super frustrated, like all of this responsibility is on me, not to mention that he did nothing but sleep the last 4 days and one of the first things he brings up when he gets home is wanting me to change something. So then I got frustrated and upset and HE got all pissy that he should be able to bring things up without me getting upset. Gah! Just too much damn stress in this house. What I ended up saying was if you thought he was in real danger of course you should say something, but if it's not a huge deal then wait to offer me any kind of critique until the damn move is over. Am I totally over sensitive for being annoyed??

Re: Would this make you mad?
A little. It could be the stress of everything being on you though.
FWIW- Kaley's machine is up all the way during naps because with the windows open, the dogs will bark and I am not dealing with a cranky baby because one of the dogs decided to bark at someone getting to close to our house.
I made rachelmichelle1 my bitch.
Oh I know it's stress....but that's the thing, he knows how stressed I am too.... like dude, you slept the last 4 days and left everything on me. Can't you pick your battles for another time?
Also- thank you... I told him it's totally normal and he says "that doesn't mean it's good."

I feel like we tend to be on the same page with the DH issues... wish you were here and we could vent over some wine, or some whine?

OH FFS. A lot of things aren't "good" but it's called survival for a reason.

Right, he just doesn't get it... he's watched DS by himself over the weekend twice... but he's never done it when we have a deadline to get done... like I need him to sleep so we can move. I think it's resolved now I'm going to keep doing it during day naps until we move, then DS is upstairs and I was planning on turning it back down anyways. Right now we have a 1 story house and I'm using packing tape and shizz. I think I need a massage and a huge bottle of wine after we move.
