Checking in- New Years Resolutions!

Very random thought came to me just now, wondering if I've actually kept my New years resolution. I wanted to read more books, finally finish my degree, and work on being a good mother. So I guess I've partially failed, since I now won't be graduating till 2014 and I've only read 1 non-school book since January. I'm making good progress with the mother thing though. Has anyone actually done theirs? If you haven't done it yet, do you plan to do it in the next 6 months?

My grandma and my mom always make a list of New Years predictions too. I should go back and see if any have come true yet.

I guess I failed since I don't even remember what they were. Whoops. Probably to exercise more, which hasn't happened. Hopefully in 10.5 days when school is out?

  • I'm guessing mine involved exercise and if so, no. I have walked more, but I haven't gotten it fully into my routine and I haven't stepped it up to something better. Heck, I still haven't found my sports bra and I'm terrified it won't fit anymore. Dh might kill me after I spent 70 on it. Ugh. They're huge.

I completed my resolution. Mine was to lose all my pregnancy weight and then some.  Total pregnancy I gained 45 lbs and I ended up losing 57 lbs.  I hit a plateau at 127 lbs so decided to stop there and call it my goal. Now I just eat healthy and I also quit eating red meat.

  • I've stuck with it! I gave up diet coke!
