That is awesome!!! We've been trying to teach DD to help dress herself, and she's almost there with her slip on shoes.
My friends keep telling me to teach her to do as much for herself as I can, so she's more self sufficient when the baby gets here. I've been amazed at how much she picks up when I try to let her do more on her own, with my direction! I think I get in a groove where it's quicker/easier for me to just do things for her, know what I mean?

Definitely - I've been trying to get DS to get his own seatbelt on (just pull the straps around, not actually buckle it). I usually give up.
The other thing I've been working on is getting him to climb into the car by himself. I got an Ikea kids' step stool that is on the floor in front of his seat. He was able to climb into the car without it today, and then he can step on the step stool to get into his seat. I'm doing that in case I end up with another c-section. The only bad thing is when he DOESN'T climb into his seat and crawls across to the other side insetad.
I can't WAIT until DS can put his own pants on. He can get his arms in his sleeves once I get the shirt over his head and guide his hands, but he just has no interest in putting his own pants on.
Of course...when we put his pants on his sits in my lap while I pull them over his feet and I always steal a few hugs/snuggles while he's sitting with me. I'm sure I'll miss that.

Way to go, little man!
DD2 looooooves to try (notice the key word here: TRY) to put on her shoes, but she hasn't had much success thus far.
J can put on his crocs, but they're usually on the wrong feet.
Aww, too cute!
Xander can put on his big brother's shoes because the are so easy for him to slip his feet in. He hasn't tried his own yet.
