DS fell off the bed :[ I was just about to grab him but he was too fast. I feel awful.. He cried for 2 minutes straight! It's been half an hour and he seems fine now. Has this happened to anyone else?
Too many times with DD1. Just look for signs of concussion and keep LO up for a good 30 minutes. It makes you feel horrible, but luckily babies are tough
Yup, it happened a few months ago. He slept in bed with me and I ALWAYS woke up if he did and started moving around. We couldn't put up the rails on the bed as we have a pillowtop mattress. Well one time he woke up and moved to the edge and fell out in the middle of the night. I felt awful that i didn't hear him awake like I normally did. He was perfectly fine though. Cried for less than two minutes. He cries more when I try to put him in the carseat!!!
I'm glad everyone is okay! We haven't had him fall off anything, but DH fell down the stairs with him 10 min. after I left for my first work PP work trip. Didn't tell me for a week. (probably for the best)
My daughter did a head first flip off the couch when I went to answer the door. She was about 4 months old. The only thankful thing was that when i got up to answer the door, I threw a big blanket off my lap. Thankfully she landed on her bum on the blanket. Saved by a blanket. She shred a few tears still from the shock i'm assuming, but I still felt so horrible. Lesson learned...
