We have TEETH!

For the last two months, Madeline has shown all the signs of teething. Finally this week TWO bottom teeth broke through. This entire week, she's been soooo fussy! All her normal behaviors are OFF. She's been great on the solids this past month, but now she doesn't want it. She just wants her bottle of BM. She's been sleeping through the night since 4 months, but now she's up at least once every night. Luckily she goes back to sleep easily with the paci.

I understand teething makes them fussy, but she's driving me nuts right now always crying. How long will this last? Any tips on making things better for her? I haven't taken her temp, but I don't think she has a fever. Has anyone given baby Tylenon or orajel to soothe pain. She's seems so miserable right now. I'm sure this too..will pass. Just waiting here.....

congrats on the teeth. We got 2 at once also.. but I have no advice because she seemed to do just fine. BUT the last 2 days she has been all over crazy and I wonder MAYBE if finally the teeth might hurt.

There are so many variables with these kiddos its hard to tell what makes them fussy

Yay for teeth!!!! I'm kinda weird about the orajel stuff. I'm ok with Tylenol if he has a slight fever and seems super uncomfortable.

Yay teeth! Looking forward for our little guy to finally have some pop through. Not sure what is best to remedy, but just exciting that they finally broke through.

Yay for teeth. The teething will just continue as it starts..at least that is what happened with Q. Although, he was a little over 12 months before he got his first two teeth, and then the top four came in all at once as well. He is now 2 and getting 2nd yr molars...they suck...hardcore.

C is freaking the heck out all the time lately. Especially at night, she was sleeping 8 hrs in a row and now she's up every 2 hrs screaming. I wonder if they are on their way?? I've been looking and feeling, and I don't feel anything.

Relief tips that work for me are massaging the gums. He especially likes it if my thumb is cold. The other day, he sucked on one of those fruit only sugar free popsicles. Numbed him up and he was fine. Amber teething necklace. And I let him chew on anything he wants as long as it is not harmful to him. And lastly, Gripe water. K has been teething for a couple months now and I am starting to see white bumps so I am hoping they are close.

V cut his bottom two at 4 months. HE was REALLY fussy or 3-4 days. Once they cut through it got better. Then, as they started moving up more he got cranky and fussy again for a few days.

Now, he is getting his top two....and possibly top 4---and he has moments where he is a FUSS POT. But it passes.

We did try Tylenol for a few nights when he cut first two, but honestly....didn't do much, so we stopped. I didn't want to give him medicine every night. I also tried Hylands Teething tabs....don't think those helped much either.

I do freeze a wet wash cloth and give him that to chew on. He likes that best and it usually "resets" him to happy boy.
