Poll: Pop or soda?

So valzee's post got me curious - do you call it pop or soda? And what state/region of the US are you in (or grew up in)?
I grew up in MI and call it pop. DH grew up in WI and calls it soda. DD1 calls it pop and it drives DH bonkers

Coke. Everything is "Coke." As in:
Me - "Do you want a coke?"
You - "Sure, what do you have?"
Me - "Diet Coke, Mt. Dew, Dr. Pepper"
Grew up in Indiana.
Soda Eastern PA and still there.
I think Pop Is a mid west thing isn't it? Dh has family in Ohio and they call it Pop too.
I always thought so, but when we lived in CA certain parts of the state called it pop and others soda. I just find it so funny how different it is.

same here. If someone said pop around me I would assume they were from the South
Born and raised in Maine then bounced between western Mass, upstate NY, RI, Boston, and CT. Everywhere I've lived says soda.
This for me as well!
Everything is coke. Like "want a coke?" "Sure what do you have?"
Or soda if I'm going to the store to buy it.
