I got a friend request yesterday from a woman (but not a group) - was that you?

Sorry this has turned into a giant PITA!

    When the facebook admin friends you then she can add you to the group.. I was also confused when I asked to join..

    I think she already sent you a friend request. You accept it and then she will add you to the group. Check the last thread about the Facebook group. I'm pretty sure there was a message there for you :

    Zona, Goofyteacher and I both sent you friend requests on FB. You need to add one of us to get in the group.

    Okay, I replied to the current messages I have.  I have sent FB requests to quite a few people that never added me, initials (JL). 

    The only way to be added to the group is to be FB friends with someone in the group, since it's private and not searchable.

    Once you accept the friend request, I can add you to the group and you can defriend me.

     I'm sorry to get bitchy, but I can not help it if you don't accept the friend request.  Zonagirl, I went back and looked.  I sent you a friend request the beginning of March.  It says it's still "friend request sent", which means it should be in your box.
