Labor buddies?

I read they have these on a few other boards.  Is this something we J13'ers will do?  What is the purpose exactly? All I have gotten out of it is the correspending LB usually lets the rest of the board know how everything is going once one goes in for L&D.  Maybe it is different when LBs both go full term.  Just curious if someone could shed some light on the subject for this newb

    I think some people on J13 do have a labor buddy.  I think you have the general idea of it right:)  I think it's been discussed a little but I'm not sure.

    With bump mobile being available now, I'm not sure that labor buddies are really necessary. We had them when I was pregnant with E but bump mobile didn't exist then.

    Kind of what I was thinking.  I'm able to update on my own:)

    I was thinking along the same lines as you all as well it seems.  Thanks for the input and better understanding Smile

    Maybe a better term is a pregnancy buddy. Etoille and I are labor buddies but we have been discussing a lot off board that has come up that we haven't felt comfortable sharing with the board until we knew more. Like when I was sent to LD. It's a lot more about support. Maybe it's not for everyone but it's a great resource for some people.
