Femara question

So no surprise BFP fo me this month and now back to treatments. Boo. Anyway, if you used femara did you take it cd 3 through 7 or 5 through 9? What is the difference?

ETA. Did you also take baby aspirin while on it?

I took it 3 to 7 my first cycle, got pg, and mc. My 2nd cycle of femara I did cd 5 to 9. My RE thought my egg needed longer to mature. BFN. Went back to 3 to 7 and got pg with E! No aspirin for me.

Can't remember, I'll check after nap time.

I do know that I responded very quickly to it and didn't have any of the crazy clomid type s/e. And my insurance paid for it since it is technically a cancer drug.

I was on femara for days 3-7, did ovidrel trigger and then IUI... which resulted in 2 mature follies and 1 semi-mature... which resulted in pregnancy. I don't know what the difference is by doing them on different cycle days, and never really figured it out even after several years on the IF boards! I did not take baby aspirin, and never heard of it until your post. Is that common?

I heard baby aspirin was common with clomid because it helps your lining since clomid can cause it to thin. Just wasnt sure about femara. After some research I found that it helps with blood flow.

Well poop! Sorry about the BFN. I'm currently taking femara cd 37. As a pp mentioned I haven't heard of ASA with Femara as much as with Clomid. I took it while on Clomid but it didn't help me. So far Femara hasn't worked either. This is my 4th cycle on Femara.

I always took Femara days 3-7. I've never taken baby aspirin. I'm not sure what the difference is in the timing. It's hard to remember but I think I took Clomid days 5-9 but never Femara.

I took Femara CD3-7, but forgot to start it on CD3 one cycle and did it CD4-8... lo and behold, that was my BFP cycle, so who knows?! Split the difference, I guess!

Never took any baby aspirin.
