Re: ~*~Grad Check-In~*~
Well, it has been an interesting week over here.
I had an u/s and lab on Tuesday. Everything looked good on the u/s. Heartbeat was 142 bpm.
That afternoon they called with my labs. My progesterone has dropped to 17, but my beta went up 80,000 points. This concerns them as it may be an indicator that my cancer is back. They had called three oncologists before they called me, so we are just waiting to hear back from them.
I will have lab again on Friday to check my progesterone again now that I have started supplements. I also have another u/s and lab next Tuesdays.
Hope everyone is doing well. Hugs to those that need them!
ETA: Forgot the QOTW! I would say just spending summers at the lake cabin with the family!

Hey ladies!!
I've settled down after my MFM appointment last week. I had an ultrasound with my OB on Tuesday, nothing new. Baby B still has a heartbeat (actually up to 153!) but filled with cysts and no arms or legs. Baby A was having a little dance party. I go back to the MFM tomorrow... hoping for some answers, but probably still too early to really know anything.
Anways.. here's my 10 week twin baby pudge.
Still checking in on you ladies frequently!
QOTW: Nothing jumps out at me, other than Christmas Eve. With my family, we would go to mass, then dinner, then drive and look at Christmas lights. It was always very special to me & I'd like to have some sort of similar tradition with my family.

I guess I now fit in here- my second beta came back at 298 at a doubling time of 36 hours and my progesterone went from 16.4 to 20.6. I go back Monday for one more Beta. Fingers crossed everything goes well.
As for the question- I spent every summer up on a lake and hope to continue that tradition as much as I can!
Congrats!

Hi guys!!
It's been a bit of a roller coaster this week. I was in the hospital on Friday for fluids via IV. I called concerned about symptoms so the OB just sent me there. I thought it was odd though, when they only gave me one bag, but didn't say anything as I knew they could only administer what the doc ordered.
Well, should've spoken up or called the OB b/c I was in the ER on Sunday. Saturday night I had some cramping and then Sunday morning I was bleeding. And terrified. After 4 hours we learned that I was still really dehydrated (my goal is now to drink 104 oz of water a day), had a UTI and placental abruption, i.e. a tear in my baby A's placenta. That's apparently what caused the bleeding.
I was put on light activity at work and bedrest when I'm at home until next Wednesday when they will do another u/s to see if the tear has healed itself or if it's gotten worse. Fingers crossed it's just healed itself right up. I haven't had anymore bleeding since Monday - but do get crampy every now and again. Not sure if it's normal or related to the placenta - and trying not to freak myself out.
Anyway - that's getting long. Childhood traditions all revolve around holidays - watching the Thanksgiving day parade in pjs, opening one gift on Christmas eve, etc.
Hope you are all doing well - still checking on you often and rooting for you guys like crazy!
Im late to this but yesterday was 37w for me. I am being induced Wed if it doesnt happen on its own. I had an appointment on Monday and babies are weighing in at 6lbs3oz and 6lbs9oz. I cant believe at 30w i was in labor and held off at 4cm for another 7 weeks. Hopefully labor comes on its own. They took me off all bedrest restrictions.
