Placenta Encapsulation

Sorry if you are seeing this again from the breastfeeding board.

Has enyone encapsulated their placenta? Did it help with milk supply? Did anyone do it with one child and not anyother and notice any differences? I had HORRIBLE milk supply with DD and baby #2 is on the way. I want to do everything possible to increase my supply.

I plan to. I also had a crap supply with my first. anything is worth a try for me!

I did it. This is my first, so I have nothing to compare it to. I never had supply issues or PPD. I was worried about both and I figured I would give it a shot. I think the pills were great and they really helped with my mood. I will do it again with my next.

DD is my first, so I can't say for sure if the encapsulation played a part in my milk supply. I can tell you that I didn't have any issues with my supply and I felt great. I didn't deal with any PPD and had the perfect amount of energy to deal with the lack of sleep and getting used to having a new baby. I would highly recommend giving it a shot.

Had horrible PPD with DS, great milk supply though. I plan to encapsulate next time...it will be well worth it to me if it helps with mood as much as I've researched and talked to other moms about. I say do it, why not.
