Gift advice

SO's Friend is watching Gator for 39 hours over The course of May/June. I told her that I would pay her 10 an hour while she is watching her. Well she won't accept the money and I don't want her to walk away without getting something for watching Gator because I know how busy Gator can be.

Does anyone have any ideas for a gift for her? Or should I just pool all of the money from the 30 hours and put it into one big spa gift card in her name?

    Go with the gift card and make sure she has meals when she comes over to watch Gator. She won't be able to refuse those.

    My cousin often watches DD so DH and I can go out. She won't accept payment, either. I have her favorite sushi in the refrigerator when she arrives. We don't usually exchange Christmas gifts, but I gave her and her husband a gift card to their favorite restaurant as a thank you for giving us so many nights out.

    A spa gift card sounds nice but I like to give gifts that people will always have and can refer it to something. How about a bag or wristlet? Coach is having a 25percent off sale and put the difference on a gift card.


    I didn't even think of this! We have a Coach Outlet not too far from us too!
