Reflux - when diagnosed?

DS1 had it and I'm getting the feeling DS2 has it as well. Won't sleep flat on back without pulling legs up and fussing.  Starting to spit up chunky milk.  No fun.  Anyone else?   DS2 is 2weeks 3 days and EBF.

Re: Reflux - when diagnosed?

  • Mine LO was having screaming tantrums where she would arch back at times. She wouldn't have spit up but would scream every time she burped or relived gas. Doctor recommended to switch similac sensitive and get mylicon drops. We tried this and gripe water and it has gone done tremendously but not 100%. We jus switched to Gerber Soothing today and I got progaia drops which I heard is suppose to work wonders. Good Luck!

  • We are experiencing the same thing. DD1 had it also. I called the dr a few days ago bc she was projectile vomiting every morning for the last week. The nurse said it was probably reflux and could be diagnosed at her next appt. Unfortunately that's not for another 2 weeks. DD1 wasn't diagnosed until 2.5 months old and took Zantac and was on Enfamil AR. Those two things helped a lot.
