So I had my HSG three weeks ago. I called my doctor a week after that to ask "now what?" but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I'm going to call again, but I want to be armed with more information on next steps. So, what was the typical next step for everyone after you had your HSG (and assuming it came back normal)? TIA!

Re: After HSG?
TTC since July 2011
BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks.
Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!
Same here. After b/w, HSG, and SA all came back normal, we did a Clomid + TI cycle, and then moved to Clomid + IUIs.
But your plan of action will depend on your test results. For example, if your HSG came back abnormal, they may want to do other testing or a lap. Or if the SA came back low, you might have to get your H further diagnosis/treatment first.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! And yes, I'm quite annoyed RE didn't get back to me. DH did have his SA done (and for some reason that isn't showing up in my siggy even though it should be since it's showing up when I go to My Avator & Sig...grrr). He had slightly low count (14 million; RE said he looked for at least 15M), low motility at 14%, and morph was abnormal. He's been taking FertilAid and Motility Boost for the last 3ish weeks (yeah, I know, still pretty early for results).
As for my own HSG in reply to those just above, eh, mine was kind of worse than I expected. I will say there was a med student that was doing the inserting, so maybe that had something to do with it (maybe not quite as skilled yet). It was quite uncomfortable and a little painful (worse than my worse cramps ever) for a few minutes, but once the speculum was removed, I was immediately A LOT more comfortable. Maybe from a 6 down to a 2 or 1--basically I could tell something was there but it wasn't really painful). One of my tubes was very open, but they couldn't really see my other one very well to definitively tell me it was open (the dye was kind of obscuring the view; they even had me roll my hips a few different ways to see if that would help). All indications were that it was though.
To address the bolded up above, you have to press the save button 10-15 times in a row really fast for changes on your siggy to actually save. It sounds ridiculous (because it is), but that's the way to get it to work.
After our initial testing was completed (b/w, u/s, SA, HSG and MRI), we sat down with our RE for a mini-consult to discuss the results. Then we came up with a plan (for us, clomid, trigger & IUI).
