Even though I missed my shower My friends took pics of my cake before it was cut. It was beautiful and delicious! A good friend who also made our wedding cake made it. The shower theme was a library theme so she made the cake look like a book:
This is the wording:
Our new baby girl is a gift beyond measure, a wonder to hold, and a lifetime to treasure
with ten perfect fingers and ten tiny toes, two bright eyes, and a sweet little nose.
she's bundled in pink and destined for pearls. she's a princess at heart just like all little girls
her life is a blessing filled with pure love and we welcome this miracle sent from above!

IT'S A BOY
All I know is that the left side was vanilla and the right side was chocolate. I think it had some sort of mousse filling between the layers. My mouth is watering thinking about it...
