I keep reading about Chiropractic care. I had always heard of using it for a breech baby, but I've started to read more about it and it looks like it's overall good for positioning, among other things. They say it often reduces labor time and need for pain meds. Does anyone have any experience? It makes sense to me, I just can't decide if I want to pursue it.

Re: Anyone pursued pre-natal chiropractic care?
Yep, I saw one for a good 2/3 of my VBAC pg also. I am a pretty big skeptic when it comes to chiropractics, but our insurance covered most of it, so I decided to do it. I had sciatica with DS1, but it wasn't as bad with DS2. Though, I also was more physically active my second pg. At any rate, DS2 was very well-positioned at birth, FWIW.
Find someone who specializes in the Webster Technique, and I also think it's a good idea to find a friend who can recommend one, too.

Thanks ladies, this really helps.
Next question, is finding a Webster certified really that important? What about just a chiro who treats pregnancy? I just talked to a Webster certified office today and set up a consultation, but they are out of network, so cost maybe a factor. There's a place down the street who's not Webster certified, but they are in network. Is there really that much of a difference?

I did everything under the sun to get my VBAC, so I don't know which technique I can thank for my success. However, I loved getting adjusted because it really helped with the back pain. If your insurance covers it, I recommend going.
i have been seeing a chiropractor for almost 6 years now. I saw my chiro my entire pregnancy with DS which ended with a c-section so obviously that didn't help in that situation. I'm stiill seeing my chiro now so who knows if seeing them will help lead me to a VBAC. Once I get closer to my due date, I will sit down and discuss with my chiro what happened during my first pregnancy and if he thinks there is anything he could do differently (first pregnancy was with a different chiro).
I go to a chiropractor that has multiple locations and has a few Webster certified chiros so if this baby is breech at all, I will probably go to that chiro a few times to help flip baby.
Ive been going to a Webster Certified chiropractor since I was about 20 weeks.
I have been to both a webster and ordinary run of the mill chiro and I would suggest a webster certified if you can fine one. They are a lot gentler as there is no torquing your lower back so you do not have the strain on your front. They also work the ligaments in front and help loosen them.
