Don't have a room for new baby.

I have a 3 bedroom house and a 8 and 4 yr old. I'm due in nov and was just planning on keeping the baby in our room for the first year I have no nursery and each child has their own room then to share a room with either brother or sister Is anyone else doing the same. Or have any suggestions.

My brother and I are only four years apart and we shared a bedroom for years when I was young. My mom got us bunkbeds and we did just fine that way. If I were you, I would have the 2 children share a room and give the baby their own room or have the new baby share a room with one of the children.

With my DD, we kept her in our room for the first 6 months. DS was 14m when he started sleeping in his own room. We had a large enough master to accommodate and didn't think twice about it. DS had his own room for about a year, and then we downsized, so now my 8-year-old and 2-year-old share a room.

we have a one bedroom apt. and dont have a room for our baby either.. so dont worry.. baby can be in your room for the first year and then move in with their sibling.. i think it is perfect

We have 3 kids in a 2 bedroom house. For right now the baby is in with us in a pack n play, but once he moves to the crib he'll be sharing a room with both sisters. It's tight but we just moved last summer (we found out about him a week after, he was an oops) and rentals are really hard to find in our town, so we'll be staying put for 3-4 years until we are ready to buy.
