Boy and girl room sharing

Hi,

If you have had a boy and girl share a room how did you decorate and organize? I have a daughter and will be having a son. They will be 16 months apart.

Suggestions?

    My b/g twins share a room. It's gray and mustard and we use the Not a Peep bedding by Land of Nod.

    If I had a boy and girl sharing a room, I'd do gender neutral colors... I have seen pictures online of one side a boy color (for example: blue) and the other side done in a girly color (for example: pink). That's so NMS!

    Before we moved out of our 2 bedroom house, we talked about how to decorate if we had a girl (We have a 2 year old son now). I was going to do neutral tan walls with pink owl crib bedding, and boy's owl themed toddler bedding. That way the theme was the same but still different for each.
