Anyone here adopt?

My H and I are looking into adoption and was hoping to get to talk to someone who has gone through the process. We are looking into international adoption and are at the very beginning stages of it.
We have one bio son who is 14 months but due to serious mental health issues post partum I do not want to have another bio child. Plus, I would love to give a child a loving home who does not have one.
What has your experience been like so far?

    I have not adopted, yet:) The adoption board has a great group of ladies with a ton of great information. I lurk over there because adoption is something I hope to do once my oldest two are in college. I cry at their happy ever after's. I think it's wonderful you are considering this.

    We did! We adopted DS through domestic infant adoption. I'd be glad to answer questions if I can, but I don't know much about international. The adoption board on here is great though! It was my main source of support and knowledge through our journey
    After 2years TTC and 1yr,2mo waiting for an adoption match, our blessing is here!
