Aw, why the hostility?

Well, after our post coital test this morning, looks like I have hostile CM and it is killing everything before it can get to my cervix 
Doc said that it was too late in the cycle to do our first IUI, and that we're encouraged to BD tonight and keep our fingers crossed (she said that it's been known to happen on occasion for a woman to get pregnant, even with this issue). I have a second HCG Beta scheduled for the 23rd, so tomorrow starts the tww again...If it doesn't happen for us this cycle, we will be moving onto our very first IUI, which she sounded confident would work for us if we don't happen to get preggo this time around. Thank you all for listening and I hope you're having a good week so far

Oh I'm sorry! Did they say there's anything you could do to help your chances anytime you are just trying on your own? Obviously IUI should bypass the problem, but I didn't know if there was any treatment options.
Again I'm sorry for the not so great news today.

3 endometrial biopsies all were "out of phase"
September - December, 2013: Break to lose weight and get healthy
40 lb weight loss but still not ovulating "in phase"

Yes, I'm hoping that we will be able to beat the odds of having a hostile cervical environment and get pregnant on our own this cycle, without having the IUI. But, if not, the IUI sounds very promising.
TTC since July 2011
BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks.
Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

I'm really trying to make an effort to be more optimistic about things, because I've been pretty depressed the past couple of months with the let downs, and that doesn't do me, or my husband any good. He's such an optimistic person, so having him cheer me on has been so awesome.

I believe it was consistency (too much). She said that the gland that creates the mucus, is treating the sperm as if it were an "unwelcome visitor", and makes too much to fight it off.

Sorry to hear that, but in that case it sounds like IUI is a good option! Hope it will work for you.

4 IUIs (chlomid) in 2013 which resulted in DS born in April 2014
TTC #2 since August 2015
5 rounds of IUIs (1 chlomid: resistent, 1 femara, 3 gonal f) = all BFN
ER March 9: 26 eggs retrieved, 19 mature and 17 fertilized, 8 made it to genetic testing, 4 normal!
FET #1 5/31 = BFN
FET#2 7/26 = BFP!
