Crazy thing..

I wasn't going to post about this, but though I don't post often, I do comment on others' posts, and I've updated my siggy..

DH and I got the surprise of our lives a few weeks ago..a totally unexpected BFP! My first BFP ever.  I contacted my RE right away and she had me in for a couple betas.  I've also been in for 2 ultrasounds.  So far everything looks good and my doctor feels very good about it.  We are of course thrilled, but I still think we're shocked and the fact that DD and baby #2 will only be 14-15 months apart is very nerve-wracking.  But I do know everything happens for a reason.

You just never know what life is going to throw your way, do you? 

Married Since 09/2006, TTC Since 09/2010 
DX: Unexplained infertility, DH normal 
3 Femara cycles - Oct, Nov, Dec 2011, all BFNs 
IVF #1, ER 2/15 (5R, 4M, 4F), ET 2/18, Beta 2/29 = BFN :( 
Follistim + IUI on 6/25 = BFN 
Home Study Finalized 8/14/12! Profile Active - 8/17/12! 
Officially Matched 8/29/12, Our perfect angel born 9/25/12! 
Biggest surprise ever, unexpected BFP on 4/12/13!

    Congrats on your miracle! I just babysat for a friend whose kids are 14 months apart, and it was totally doable, even with my DD there too (not that babysitting for 5 hours is anything like 24/7 motherhood obviously haha). It will be hard, but you can do it!!

    After 2 years of IF workups/treatments and 2 IUIs, we have closed the door on fertility treatments.
    We are very excited to be pursuing international adoption from China!

    Congrats!  So thrilled for you!!  Our DDs are a little bit further apart (19.5 months), but we LOVE it, of course!  They are BFFs, and it's so fun to have built-in playmates at all times!
