Best 1st Sippy Cup???

I would like to transition my daughter from her bottle to a sippy cup. Any suggestions on the best 1st sippy cup to use? Thanks!!!

I think it is jsut trial by error. We tried some of the traditional sippy cups where you have to tilt your head back to drink (like a bottle) but DS had trouble with those so we got him the kind with a straw and he did much better with that kind. we still use the other ones, but DS prefers the straw kind.

I would just buy a couple cheap ones to see what works and then buy more of the kind that your daughter likes.

We use the Nubi. It has like a bite tip on it so she can bit it and get water or tilt back and get it. It's soft like a nipple so I think it was a good transition for us.

DS did really well with the nuk sippy with handles. It was small and the spout was silicone and shaped like a sippy but felt like a bottle.
