I feel like some days DS2 eats more than DS1. He is all about food. I worry partially too because with being PG he is slowing down nursing.
He loves banana breads He can eat two pieces in one sitting as a snack. he'll eat a whole banana, a half of avocado. He never seems to stop. I only stop putting food in front of him.
What does one of your LO's meals look like?
Also what are some of your LO's favorite foods?
Re: How much does your LO eat
Parker loves to eat too! It's rare that we come across a food that he doesn't like. His favorite seem to be Bananas. He'll see a banana from across the room and charge right for it!!!
He's also really into cheese tortellini! He ate all of his dinner last night and then came after me for mine!! So I packed it for him for lunch today and my MIL said he couldn't eat it fast enough!
We are down to only 2 bottles now. He gets one in the morning first thing and one right before bed. Everything else is solids. 3 meals and 2 snacks.
Snacks typically include a yogurt smoothie, a cheese stick, a banana or a fruit cup. He also loves mum mums, puffs and veggie sticks.
I'm pretty sure he wouldn't stop eating if I kept giving him food. But there comes a time he needs to be cut off! LOL

We do 3 meals a day and recently increased the amount since LO started waking up in the middle of the night to eat a bottle.
Breakfast: Oatmeal and fruit (2 oz), 1/4 banana & cheerios/puffs
Lunch: 2 2.5oz baby bullet containers w/ purees, rice or meat and fruit. Cut up fruit, chunks of cheese and yogurt bites
Dinner The same a lunch portion wise.
Also gets ~24 oz of formula a day.
So glad you asked this! I was thinking I needed to do the same thing today
I don't think I'm giving my little one enough. I'm also super concerned with a balanced diet. I was a very picky eater so my goal is for her to be a better eater than I was
DD is a bottomless pit. She will eat anywhere from 4-9 oz per sitting. She does not like purees anymore, only if I freeze them - so now she gets "ice cream". I am introducing a 4th meal (afternoon snack) now.
This is my LO to a tee, I'm normally just a lurker here and hang over on DS1s board cause I have been here before but I just couldnt ever remember DS1 being this much of a piggy. The only way to know my june baby is done is he starts to throw food from his tray, I take that as getting bored and done. Plus I dont want to encourage it so he knows if he throws food, eating time is over.
thanks ladies.
7am 6oz bottle
9am 4oz of oatmeal fruit puree
11am 6oz bottle
1pm 2oz each fruit and veggie puree
3pm 6oz bottle
5pm 2oz each fruit and veggie puree
7pm 6oz bottle
Snacks in between and usually a gerber yogurt around 8pm. Working on replacing purees with more solid food, but this kid is a gagger
thanks for posting your bottles too, I have been a nervous wreck. DS2 is EBF, I cant pump my body rejects it for some odd reason. Recently he nurses 4-6 times a day max and I always worry about him getting enough milk too. Esp I worry about my supply since I am PG too. I have never BF while PG before, but seems like he might be just fine with 4-6 sessions a day
