I don't know if this is has been covered yet or not, but just wondering what your doctor is wanting you to take.
My midwife has me taking Calcium (which isn't too hard since I chew a couple chocolate viactiv a day), PNV (obviously), D3, and a probiotic. I didn't really question it, because I figure she knows what I need based off of my diet.
I am curious if any of your dr/midwife's are having you take a boat load of pills everyday?

the nurse I saw last week made me stop most of my vitamins in case of vitamin toxicity. Before I took B, C, D, calcium, multi, iron and selenium. Fe is a prescription and D was recommended by my PCP but an OTC vitamin.
Now I'm on PNV and D, she told me not to take calcium but my mom had osteoporosis at 50 so I'm taking it at night (PNV at breakfast) and I need to ask my dr next week about my Fe because I'm feeling very anemic lately and I doubt the nurse's statement that it's too much Fe for me. I used to be on 150mg/day so I seriously doubt my PNVs have more than that... I need to ask the pharmacist what's in these PNV because they're a prescription and I don't have the detailed info.
Edit: after reading what everyone else is on, I'm definitely talking to my dr about whether I need to have stopped most of my vitamins. The Ca and Fe are the ones I'm most concerned about having stopped. You just pee out Ca anyway, right?
