Anyone feeling super tired lately? I'm 34 weeks today and just can't seem to get enough sleep. I have to nap during the day, however, when I go to bed at night I am super tired but can't fall asleep. Ugh.
Ditto. Although I can fall asleep at night after I cross my fingers that I go into labor. I was never tired during this pregnancy. I hit 37 weeks and have needed a nap at least once a day. Mentioned it to my DH and his response "well I would sleep too if I growing a baby and having to carry it around everywhere while it kicks me all day." Made me feel a ton a better. Plus I figure better get my naps in now cause once baby is here there will be little time for that.
I'm 37 weeks yesterday. I wish I could nap during the day. I'm a sahm and when DS naps that's usually when I put my feet up for a few minutes then I get busy with dinner, cleaning or stuff like that...I'm exhausted by time for dinner. Then we spend all evening outside playing until bath time. My son is 2 and extremely active.
I go between this and super energized. Yesterday I couldn't keep my eyes open and I went to bed at 9:15 and basically passed out. Today I am super energized, for now.
I don't reguarly get a good nights sleep and the occasional nights I do feel like I have won the lottery.
Oh my, I keep telling the hubby its crazy how you women do it with another child and being pregnant. This is our first and I am 31. I can't imagine doing this again with keeping up with a toddler. Kudos to you!
I just feel like its crazy that I am this tired at 34 weeks. I could sleep for days and I have been reading that drinking more water will help and eating healthy every 3 hours, which I have been doing, but its not working. I guess this is all normal for us pregos!
You'll probably get over this hump in a couple of weeks. I've been down/out for the past month and being sick with a cold and lingering cough didn't help. Just this week, I feel like a normal human being. It was all I could do this past month just to get through my work days, cook dinner, bathe DD, put her to bed, etc....and then I'd go to bed immediately!
Yeah. Try having the cold from hell, a two year old, and a husband who just had his wisdom teeth pulled and is thus completely useless. I'm about to die.
FWIW, my doc ok'd Benadryl, which helps me sleep at night.

Thanks! My belly is making day to day stuff a little bit more difficult. DS always tries to sit on it.
Story of my life! And I chase our DD who is 3 around all day which makes me even MORE tired. Oy vey. Not too much longer!!!
Married my BEST FRIEND on December 1, 2007.
Started TTC in March 2008.
Found out we were expecting our first child in October 2008 - but had a m/c in December 2008 - resulting in a d&e.
Met with a RE in May 2009 and set a plan - but conceived unexpectedly on our own!
Our precious little Sophia was born on February 9, 2010!
