Otis is no longer a BF'ing fool!! He hasn't had a boob in 3 days.

My pregnancy boobs are now sore to the touch -- pregnancy related as I really, really didn't have much BM left.

I thought this day would NEVER happen. ::happy dance::

I know what you mean about the sore boobs. It has been a struggle with BFing because they hurt pretty bad.

Uh... It sucked, but we did it anyway.

He was really mad when I cut out nap time BFing. I rock him to sleep while BF'ing him, typically. I stopped offering the boob, but he'd ask for it. I'd tell him no boob, but offer to snuggle and rock him. Sometimes that was enough sometimes it led to a meltdown.

Same thing happened as we phased out the nighttime feeding. It helped when Jay put him to bed because there were no boobies present at the time of nuh-night. So, ultimately, I needed Jay's help, but we did it!!
