Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to my fellow teachers! I believe there are a few of us.

Is it a big deal at your school? My mom's old school used to go all out. My school does a few things, but I think elementary tends to be more involved than high school.

    I'm no longer teaching, but it was a big deal at our school. I taught middle school, and we would get something every day. Little snacks, a sonic drink, a tee shirt... Little things to say thanks! 

    Hooray to my peers who are still in the trenches! :)

    I work in a daycare ans it's a pretty big deal. We have a HUGE potluck all week, provided by the parents. Our bosses give us a small gift each day and some of the parents also give us gifts.

    Thanks all!  I still check my school emails, and I see that our board is providing us with fresh fruit one day this week.  Whoopdedoo.  We bring in nicer spreads when we celebrate each others' birthdays.

    Last year we were given a ballpoint pen.
