Moms Club

Is anyone apart of their local Mom's Club? I met my sil yesterday at the park with some of her group members and they were talking about all sorts of events. I think it would be a great way to meet local moms and for O to socialize. anyone participate? any advice on getting in or finding the local organization?

I have joined one from meetup.com. I also joined one that closed shortly after and started my own group for moms in my specific area.
Mine is a group on Facebook. I think you can search for groups on FB. You can also look for a local group of MOPS.

I found our playgroup via meetup and I'm a member of my local MOPS chapter. There is a Mom's Club chapter here but I haven't joined yet. I'm looking into it since they do more than just playdates, like charity work and more social events.

I joined one from meetup also. It is a little slow moving but I have met a few great people and get together often. I think with the nice weather some play dates are popping up a little more at parks and such. I am very glad I joined it!

The only one near me is for SAHMs and they do everything during the work day. Made me sad to see that.

I started meeting with a moms group that branched off from the breast feeding support group at a local hospital when Ry was 4 weeks old. There are four moms, two boys and two girls. It's perfect and I looooove getting together. We do something every Tuesday and a monthly moms night out.

I found a couple individual friends through a couple meet up groups. I just looked up the local MOMS club and requested a trial membership since they charge dues. Will see what comes of it.
