Graco ready2grow stand and ride- with chicco seat

Has anyone attempted to put a keyfit into the graco ride and stand? It says they arent compatable, but Im just questioning if thats accurate or if they are just trying to keep their brands together.

    Our Keyfit 30 did fit the Graco Ready To Grow.  I don't think it clicks in as smoothly as a Graco infant seat does but it was a nice tight fit and that seat wasn't going anywhere.
