Update: Prayer request for my dad

Last week I had posted that my dad was having a biopsy to determine whether or not he had prostate cancer.

Today we finally got the results and unfortunately, he does have cancer.

He is so shook up and I'm so sad and hurt for him. He has a lot on his plate right now and this is just the last thing he needs (not that there is ever a good time to find out you have cancer).

I appreciate all the prayers sent for him last week and I'd appreciate more.

I'm so sorry. The "C" word is the worst word in the world to hear when it's your family but please remain positive because there are treatment options for prostate cancer and they have good results. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you ladies, I really appreciate you taking time to send prayers for my dad.

I am very hopeful that everything will end up ok but it is scary and I'm really hurting for him because he is so upset. Seeing your big, tough farmer dad cry is really difficult to watch.

Hearing this news is always hard but please think positively. They have made amazing strides. The journey may be difficult at times so hang in there. Praying for you guys!
