  I would call now. Last week i got my BFP and today I'm 5w2d, and i called yesterday. my first appt. is in 2 weeks so I will be 7 weeks. They said the 1st appt. should be between 6 to 10 weeks. Every place is different too. And then I get a 12 week physical exam. And my 1st ultrasound is at 20 weeks.

  Many OB's in my area wont see you until 8-12 weeks. 

  13 yr old boy with ASD, ADHD and PICA, 11 yr old boy, 3 yr old Girl, & baby Girl.

  Wow! I had never heard of that! here in Mexico is almost immediate! I just had a positive home test on sunday and I have my appointment today!!

  My OB said 7-8 weeks.  I am having it early at 5 because I'm traveling across the country for a month.  From my research, even then they might be able to hear a heartbeat!

  My first appointment isn't until I will be almost 10 weeks. My doctor said that time frame is fine since I've never had any problems (luckily) before. It's so hard to wait patiently! Just 4 more weeks.

  Thank you all for your advice, I will be calling my OB as soon as possible to see when they think it would be best for me to come in. Looks like it could be anytime from now to 12 weeks, but hopefully they say very soon because I'm anxious.!
