GTKY: feeling domestic

As I'm feeling super domestic today for a few reasons

1. Waiting on Tupperware to be delivered
2. Made clay to make footprints of Hannah for mother's day
And 3. Making a batch of dandelion jelly

I was wondering what is your favourite domestic activity?
And in your household, who is cleaner?

1. My favourite activity is crocheting!! I love making hats. And in close second is baking!

2. Embarrassing enough, my hubby is more clean than I am. But since having Hannah, I've been more clean! I just want to set a good example for her.

We just bought new tupperware too.

My favorite domestic activity is baking.

I am neater than MH, I clean as I go, and I put things back where I found them. But I am a pack rat, and MH is good about throwing junk away. So it's a toss up, and we are a good fit that way.

I wish I could crochet.

Enjoy cooking, but not baking. I also enjoy cocktails, but don't like making them (DH and MIL are the best mixologists!).

Im the cleaner, but the house is suffering because J has to be sleeping next to me for naps. We have lived here 5 years and DH still doesn't know where half the stuff goes. Sigh. However, he works hard and didn't mind that I was pretty much a housewife (except the summers) before J was born.

My favorite domestic activity is cooking by far!!!

Our cleaning lady does the housecleaning around here! She only come once a month but she gets everything done to the bones so that I only have to do really simple upkeep in btwn her visits! Best money I spend each month.

I don't have a favorite domestic activity, but the one that I dislike the least is laundry. Smile I do love to cook, but I don't think that counts as a domestic activity, right?

DH is the cleaner in our family. He cleans the kitchen and does the dishes (since I usually cook) and he also cleans the bathrooms. I joke that it's because I get my manicure done and I can't deal with the cleaners, but really it's that he doesn't mind it and I do other tasks (finances, laundry, etc). We both split the vacuuming/mopping/dusting since we alternate who stays home with Adalyn during the week.

I like baking.

I keep things cleaner on a daily basis in our common living areas and I do most of the laundry. DH does the majority of the thorough cleaning though. He's a keeper.

I like to bake and cook. DH likes to clean:-) How ever, he is not a good organizer. He likes to just stack things like mail, forms, letters, coupons into piles and then does not remember what is in the pile....grrrr! Makes me nuts!

I'm a baker as well!

We both clean about the same amount. We take turns with everything and try to deep clean once a month. I'm having to get back into the routine now, during the last few weeks of my pregnancy and until I could really move around after the c/s, DH did everything.

I'm jealous. I told DH we need a cleaning lady. He is traveling more and I just can't keep up. Once our construction is finished this is happening.
