Furniture Strap Question

My DH finished strapping furniture to the walls today. It was done in DS's room with two straps per piece of furniture for awhile now. It says to use two per piece or possibly more. However, my husband just used one for the remaining pieces nd says it is secure enough. He showed me by grabbing on to the dresser and hanging on it with his full body weight of over 200 lbs. Should I let it go or have him add straps? WWYD?

I'm thinking the same thing, just wondering why they say caution: must put at least two. Maybe to sell more? Thanks!
