Baby Appleseed / Stratford nursery set question

Hi mommies!!

Did anyone use Baby Appleseed's nursery furniture? I saw the Startford collection in Buy Buy Buy Baby and really liked it but Baby Bargains is giving the brand a B- due to bad reviews from customers. I would love to hear from anyone on this brand in general and this set in particular if anyone ever used it.

    We have the Stratford crib and absolutely love it. DS has been using it for 21 months and I have no complaints.

    what mattress did you use? Will the standard one fit? I can't find the specs of the crib.

    I have the Sealy Soybean mattress (51.6x27.2x5) and it fits well. I am sure any standard mattress should fit, you want a snug fit. If you email the company they will email you a copy of the manual so you can see the minimum mattress dimensions required.
