(NTTCALR) some fall easily...

Apparently last week wasn't bad enough. 
I went to move something in the backyard and didn't realize that Taylor (my boy dog) was laying down right behind me. When I took a step back I realized I was about to put all my weight on him so I lost my footing. I tried to regain my balance but instead went crashing into my BBQ (which is still hot from lunch) and then slammed down on the concrete slabs of my patio. My hands and knees are bleeding. My feet are scrapped to sh*t and I ripped 1 of the 2 pairs of capris I own. Fantastic!At least I'm laughing at myself and stupidity now, but my palms and knees are burning as a constant reminder.

    OUCH! ((Hugs)) madison.  I'm so clumsy so that completely sounds like something I would do.  I'm glad you didn't get seriously hurt though!

    Ouch! That sounds like something I would do, practically kill myself to avoid stepping on my cat.  I'm glad you can laugh about it and hope you feel better.

    That reminded me of a coworker I had at one of my first jobs as a bank teller. She and I were friends. One day I happened to look over at her in time to see her lose her balance and fall to the ground. Luckily she wasn't hurt because I couldn't stop laughing.     Oh my gosh! I'm so glad you are ok other than scrapes and bruises. That could have been so much worse. Is your pup ok? He was probably freaked out! This seems like a scene from an Aston Kutcher movie.

    Oh man, I'm a total clutz at the best of times so I can really relate!  Feeling foolish and laughing at yourself, but hurting at the same time are feelings I know all too well.  This isn't clumsy-related, but it is silly, the other night I was pulling out of a parking lot, it was late and the sun was really low and right in my eyes so I didn't see the support cable for the pole I just passed, went to turn and rammed it with my car.  Big scuffs plus a gouge/crack in my front bumper, damn plastic car parts really pisss me off!

    yea, he's fine. When I finally landed he was sitting beside me looking at me as though I was crazy.  

    Oh good. I'm glad you didn't use him or the BBQ to break your fall. That would have made your landing much worse.
