I have switched my baby at 11 months off of formula it was getting too pricey and thought baby could use the extra fat and protein. The Dr. Opposes but Baby agrees bowel movements are regular and she seems more satisfied. What are your thoughts?
How much milk are you giving? Same amount as formula? I would think cost would be pretty comparable. Also, you're only a month away from being 1 year old, I probably would have just waited until LO 1 year appointment to switch over.
Personally, DD 11 months was a preemie. I EBF until 2 weeks ago when i stopped being able to pump enough for her while I am at work still nurse 3 times a day I chose to use formula instead of starting milk because I felt like it would be an easier transition for her gut, and is better nutritionally then cows milk. DD is very small for her age though only maybe 1617lbs.

This. Especially for a preemie who could use the extra nutrients supplied by formula even more!
