Good evening, ladies! My work finally wised up and blocked TB so I'm having to post this a little early. I've only got a few more weeks until I hit 3rd Tri so if it's alright, I'll keep posting it on Monday nights. And please forgive me if I missed anyone's update throughout the week.

I'm going to go ahead and start soliciting volunteers for running the check-in when I leave. Any takers???

Update: Made it to V-Day last Friday! Wahoo!! I've actually had a rough week. Lots of cramping (minor, but worrisome) and I've had pain in my upper belly the last 2 days. I don't think that's pregnancy-related but of course I'm over-analyzing everything.

QOTW: As stated, I haven't really started on the nursery. It's already yellow and I think I'll be painting one wall gray with a yellow horizontal stripe then going with elephants. Or monkeys. Or giraffes. Or all of the above. I'm not good at decisions.

can i be added please? Due date Oct 27th. finding out sex in a few weeks! I can't believe i am flying through 2nd tri already.

I have no real plans to start anything until i find out the sex, but then it will be full steam ahead. I am really into the look of vintage maps lately though, and would love to incorporate them into a room. I am not doing any 'theme' per se but def more eclectic. I think for colors i am going soft neutrals, gray, tan , white kind of deals. this is something i saw with a look i like that could go boy or girl (and the crib i already have!)

Can you please add me too? Due November 4th with twins! I have so many ideas on the nursery theme! We have started gutting the room, prepping the walls, but will not buy anything for a couple more weeks. My strict Jewish grandmother is buying our cribs, so they won't be here until after the babies are born. We find out the sexes on Thursday, so as long as there aren't two girls in there, we will be doing aqua walls with multicolored chevron details, and white cribs for the furniture.

Not much to report. I made it to V-Day last Friday and have an OB check-up this Friday. Getting excited for my spa vacation at the end of the month. DH stays home with DD and I go relax for 5 days!

QOTW: I have the same crib that's in Vicki's picture for DD's room, and just got it in Cherry wood color for DS' room. I already painted his room a nice sky blue (was pink when we bought the house), we moved a double dresser in there for clothes and changing table, and will use DD's rocker/glider, which matches very well. A little artwork in there and I think we're done.

Hi Ladies! Not much new with me. I have another normal OB appointment at the end of the month and the A/S a couple weeks after that. Feeling pretty good and actually regained some energy and washed my floors by hand this weekend. DH thought I'd lost it.

We started the nursery this past weekend. DH painted the walls gray (Sherwin Williams- Gray Matters) and we're putting up white wainscoting on the bottom half of the wall this week. Nativegirl my theme is a lot like yours. Grays, yellows, giraffes, elephants...

Update: we are slowly inching into the the territory of telling people. It's a bit of a relief and also somewhat difficult to share our "secret".

I've been really tired lately and I'm still waiting for that 2nd trimester energy spurt to kick in. I also have virtually no hunger, so I have to force myself to eat. I know they're still getting nutrients and I'm eating healthy when I do, but I wish I had more interest.

QOTW: We're moving internationally in the middle of the pregnancy, so it's going to be busy until then and I'm going to really want to settle in and do some nesting before the twins arrive.

we'll likely do a very modern, minimal, simple, travel theme. We've been collecting books from around the world since before we even planned on our children coming, so we have a great library of international children's books, some cool maps, and interesting souvenirs to decorate with.

Hi Ladies,
We moved onto the stage of dr. appointments every two weeks, next week I will be in the 3rd trimester. Time is flying by. They increased my blood pressure meds, which has helped me feel so much better, more alert and not like I could fall asleep at my desk. I have the glucose test next week, I have my fingers crossed that baby and I will pass.

QOTD: We are not really doing a "theme" I found awesome fabric on babybedding.com and my DH's aunt is making the bedding, diaper cover, window coverings, etc. The furniture has been ordered from BabyDepot - the Dakota in driftwood finish. I enjoy antique/vintage styles so I am hoping to have a soft old school feel to the nursery.

Update: I'm half-baked today! I'm so excited. I also woke up looking full on pregnant for the first time. I just can't believe that I'm halfway through.

QOTW: DH and I don't want anything too themey. We are also Team Green so we have to be creative. We are thinking the color palette will be aqua/grey/white. I want white furniture with white/grey bedding. There is an existing chair rail in the room, so we are going to do white wainscotting on the bottom half of the walls and paint the upper half aqua. I'm going to have some fun with color for curtains and wall decorations. We have done nothing in the nursery yet.

I am 15w3d today. I announced on Facebook yesterday and we got lots of love, so that was fun! A lot of co-workers and friends have made comments that I've "popped" so I guess I'm starting to look pregnant and not just like I had a big lunch.

My next OB appt isn't until the end of the month, and my A/S isn't until June 10. I'm counting down the days, and can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl! I haven't really thought too much about the nursery, and figure I'll dive into it when we find out the sex. Plus, we're hoping to move before baby arrives, so we have a long ways to go before we start getting it ready.

I love seeing some of your inspirations though. Your babies will have beautiful nurseries!

Update: V-day was yesterday, so things are moving right along! Feeling decent, but still have occasional bad days of nausea. The belly is starting to get bigger fast! OB appt and glucose test will be in a few weeks. Overall, everything is going great!

QOTW: We are almost ready to move into our new house (closed ~6 weeks ago, but have been redoing the kitchen, painting, and some other small projects before moving in), so we finally felt like we could get some baby furniture. We went to IKEA this weekend and bought the crib, changing table, and some accompanying stuff like mattress, sheets, etc. Picture below of the finished products and DH! We also got the cute flower lamp, but haven't put it up yet. We don't really have a theme or color scheme for the nursery. I just want it to be cozy and neutral.

23 weeks tomorrow and baby is doing great! Had another cervical check last Thursday and cervix is stable and fluids are great!!

QOTW: We have the crib and a glider but that's it so far. My dad and step-mom are coming to visit this week and are going to paint the nursery. Two walls will be lavender and the other two will be gray. We have an elephant theme. Baby shower is in less than 2 weeks so hoping we get more for the nursery!! Hi ladies.. no updates on me since last week. I have my a/s on the 13th...nervous and excited for it... Nervous that they may find something wrong.. but excited to hear everything is ok and to find out if we are team pink or team blue!

QOTW: We are waiting till we find out boy/girl before we think about the nursery...but I have, of course, been scouring Pinterest for ideas!

No real updates here. I go for my anatomy scan on Friday so I'm both excited and ridiculously nervous about that.

As far as the nursery goes, we have the basics. We have a crib (on sale + trade in event at BRU) and mattress (on sale online). We have a day bed with trundle in there too (for guests). We got a swing off from a friend for a great price. We've gotten quite a few hand me downs (clothes, RnP, etc). I found a clearanced stroller as well ($250 stroller for $100!). We still have to actually set everything up but we have most of the stuff. We'll need a few decorations and health stuff but I think that's pretty much it. I'm really worried about going on bed rest again, hence my super anal early collection of stuff.

Update: Nothing really new except for these darn headaches which are KILLING me. Also, think I've felt some fluttering the last couple days which is awesome! And we're surprising our family on Mother's Day letting them know we're having a little boy!! My next appointment is next Wednesday with the new Midwife I'm going to see. I'm looking forward to meeting her.

QOTW: We decided we're going to do a modern nautical theme. White wainscoting and crown molding with navy blue walls with red and gray accents. I have this awesome ship's wheel we got from a flea market we're going to use and are going to make it a bit rustic as well.

We haven't bought anything yet except for the ship's wheel. I think we'll start once I hit 20 weeks.

This is somewhat of my inspiration. I love the red letter above the crib. My DH is going to make that himself.

Update: We had our follow up echo and everything looks good. Either there were never any VSDs or they closed up on their own! My BP was a bit high that day, but has gone down and stayed down since. Our next OB appointment is on the 23rd then we go for another growth scan.

Please add me to the list. My EDD is 10/24/13. My last OB appt was on 5/1 and everything is looking and sounding great. The m/s still hasn't let up. My OB said I might have it thoughout the entire pregnancy!

QOTW: We haven't picked a theme yet, but I just splurged a Murnire crib, dresser and nightstand in white. I'm not going to buy anything else until I know what team we are.

One week till a/s scan! Mom and MIL are coming and we are going to lunch and hopefully shopping afterwards!!! I am hoping one or both with want to buy a crib!!!

I have been sooooo tired recently. The 1st tri seems to move quickly and this 2nd tri is dragging please can 3rd tri fly!!! Haha!!

If this is a boy we will move DS to a new big boy room and give the new baby his nursery (closer to our room). Here is the pic of his nursery, I am surprised that 2+ years later it still looks this good!!! The curtains and crib skirt I made and the rocking chair cushion and quilt my MIL did! Tho I made it so it will transition into a toddler room so maybe I will do the same for this one....who knows till we have a name I cant get inspired.

Hi ladies! I had my last cervix check last week and everything looked good so I don't have to go back to the MFM anymore. My mom went with me because they threw in a growth scan too. She was so surprised to find out that we're having a boy! I think she really thought it was a girl all along She's been going crazy already with buying little boy clothes. My next OB appointment is next week which will be my last every 4 week appointment- crazy!! I can't believe us August mamas are at the top of the list already!

QOTW: So I'm also a professional procrastinator and have not done much with the nursery yet. We're still working on cleaning it out because it has basically been our storage room for the last 3 years. But we're hoping to have it painted by the beginning of next month so we can set everything up. All we have purchased so far is the crib and dresser. Here's a pic:

There's no theme really, just colors. We're going with lime green, navy and turquoise. There is already chair rail in the room so the top will be painted a light shade of turquoise with plain white on the bottom. The bedding will be all three colors and I'm hoping to get a navy glider. So I am pretty sure I forgot to check-in last week. Nothing new to report. Vday is this week (even though I think the NICUs here don't really consider Vday until 26 weeks...). My next OB appt is the 23rd and I have my glucose test. I can't believe third tri is RIGHT around the corner!

QOTW: I actually have a painter in my house as I write this working on the nursery and the playroom. We have an open concept den and living area that we are converting into a playroom and living area. We had a wall built to define the spaces. New carpet will be installed week after next. I am so ready for my house to be put back together!!

I am working on a pom pom mobile and a bow holder. I have an antique mirror that will be going in the nursery. My pinterest board is getting narrowed down with the things I am actually going to do. It is so much fun!

Not much going on here. Still another week and a half before my next OB appt (it's been tough adjusting to this every-four-weeks thing after being monitored every-other-week by my RE throughout the 1st tri).

QOTW: No decisions made yet. We've settled on Jenny Lind-style cribs (like in CousinVicki's photo), but not sure which color yet. Planning to get a double dresser from Ikea which we'll also use as a changing table. We'll also have DH's old twin+trundle bed in there.

Nothing new to update. I'm feeling lots of kicks and loving it! We don't have another appointment for two weeks - booh! I'm excited to see their little profiles/faces again. We have our showers this week and next week. I'm SO EXCITED!

I know I'm a day late checking in... sorry. I just moved into the 2nd tri this week. I'm 14weeks today with twins. 40 week due date is Nov 6th (but they've already told me that I won't be going past Oct 23rd). My anatomy scan is scheduled for June 7th and my next OB appt is June 4th.

QOTD: We are waiting to make any decisions until we know genders, but have started talking ideas. I really like a jungle/monkey theme. But DH doesn't think we need a theme, just bright and colorful. Hoping to make some decisions in early June so that we can start registering!

Hello! Not a lot new to report here. We have an ultrasound next week, and they said they may be able to find out the genders of the babies if they cooperate! We will see how that works, it would be great to find out early!

We have a lot of bedroom rearranging to do. The two extra bedrooms, which are currently the office and guest room, will soon be dedicated to the babies! We are debating between a grey or a light aqua wall. We also purchased grey chevron fitted sheets. We are waiting to finalize everything when we find out what we are having! Love everyone's nursery ideas, they are all looking great!

Hi ladies,

I am coming over from the 1st tri board. I am pregnant with twins and my due date in November 14th but I have already been told babies will come around Oct 23rd. The babies and I have been in the hospital 2 times for severe morning sickness.

My mom and DH just painted the nursery a few weeks ago and it is a taupe color and the base boards have been painted a semi glass white. The next process is having one of our good friends come and paint a tree in the corner with children swining. The cribs are bought. Now to just decide on bedding.

Update: No major updates here. We moved into our new place this past weekend and I can finally start on the nursery! Our next appointment is on Monday where I will do the glucose test and hopefully find that the previa has corrected itself (fingers crossed!). This will be my last check in since I am moving on to 3rd tri - see all you ladies there!

QOTW: I finally am able to start putting the nursery together (see above)!! My parents sent us the cribs which arrived Tuesday and we are picking up the dresser this weekend. Mattresses are also on the way courtesy of my parents. I just need to figure out some of the accent pieces and seating. Here is my inspiration...
